The 63-acre North Mendota Prairie Unit Wildlife Area consists of expansive prairie restoration that offers excellent hiking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing opportunities. This area offers potential for pheasant and waterfowl hunting. A future segment of the North Mendota shared-use trail is planned to be developed adjacent to the CTH M corridor. A small natural surface parking lot is available on CTH M on the east side of the property.
