Dane County Parks to Present Draft Master Plans for Token Creek County Park & Natural Resource Area

Dane County Parks has been gathering ideas from the public and stakeholders to prepare a draft master plan for Token Creek County Park and Natural Resource Area. Some of the recommendations for changes to the park include additional camping facilities, expanding the disc golf course, improving park access to surrounding residential areas, relocating the main entrance to the park, and a general reorganization of interior roads and parking areas. In addition to the park, recommendations for how to further conservation efforts, expand public recreation and increase trail connectivity throughout the Token Creek Natural Resource Area will be presented.

A public information meeting to review the plans and solicit input will be held on Thursday, March 25th, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Windsor Town Hall, 4084 Mueller Road, DeForest, WI 53532
